Air conditioning for the retail

Initial conditions

The 821 m² JouéClub shop in Labège had an outdated and malfunctioning air-conditioning system. Indoor temperatures were extremely low, not exceeding 15°C in winter, making working conditions unpleasant for employees and the customer experience unsatisfactory. The existing system had reached the end of its useful life and could no longer guarantee optimal thermal comfort.

Challenges and objectives

Faced with this situation, the shop owner's main objectives were to

  • Improve thermal comfort: ensure a pleasant and constant room temperature throughout the year for both customers and staff.
  • Optimise energy performance: reduce the building's energy consumption and thus its running costs.

The solution

To achieve these objectives, a complete solution was developed to renew the air-conditioning system:

  • Replacement of existing equipment with high-performance equipment:  
    • 2 VRF CVT8-615T outdoor units
    • 8 Q4DN-3-XY D180 cassettes
  • Installation of a management and control system: 
    • 2 wired remote controls WDC3-86T for precise and intuitive adjustment.

Results and benefits

The results of this renovation are remarkable:

  • Improved thermal comfort: the shop now benefits from a constant temperature of 19°C in winter, providing a more pleasant working and sales environment.
  • Reduced energy costs: thanks to the energy efficiency of the new equipment, energy consumption has been significantly reduced.
  • Faster return on investment: The project benefited from state incentives, which reduced the overall cost of the renovation.

Thanks to this renovation, the JouéClub shop in Labège not only improved the comfort of its premises, but also optimised its energy performance.
