Process Engineer

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Process Engineer to join our Industrialization team at Clivet Spa. You will cooperate to promote technological improvements, automation and innovative processes, increasing yield, reducing costs and optimizing processes with a view to operational excellence.
You will be responsible for managing the development of the production process and all activities aimed at its engineering and optimization.

More specifically, within the operational team the resource you will be responsible for:

  • Process design and optimization: develop and improve production processes, applying time and method analysis tools and balancing production lines to guarantee efficiency and flexibility.
  • Technological innovation: identify and implement innovative and technological solutions to improve production and logistics flows.
  • Process digitalization: Collaborate with operations teams to introduce automation and digital tools to simplify and enhance production.
  • Line engineering: designing production lines and departments, coordinating logistics activities, managing materials and supervising suppliers and subcontractors for the creation of the lines.
  • Analysis and problem solving: carry out analyzes of non-conformities, propose targeted solutions and define procedures to guarantee the quality and sustainability of the processes.
  • Training and leadership: develop and transfer operational skills by training operators and promoting a corporate culture oriented towards innovation and continuous improvement.

Essential Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanics, Automation, Management or equivalent).
  • Good knowledge of English language.
  • Knowledge, even basic, of lean manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with metallurgical, technological and plant engineering aspects related to metalworking processes.
  • Knowledge of systems, processes and procedures related to industrial production.

It will be even more interesting if you could bring us:

  • Previous experience in the industrial/metalworking sector in areas such as maintenance, production or planning.
  • Proactive approach and leadership skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and problem solving skills.

Addetto al controllo qualità
Quality

The selected person, placed in the Quality Area, will have the task of ensuring that the products manufactured meet pre-defined quality standards and comply with customer specifications.
The figure sought will be responsible for the visual and functional inspection of products during and at the end of the production process.


More specifically, within the operations team, the resource will be responsible for:

  • identify defects on supply parts and on the finished product by drawing up the appropriate non-conformities in relation to the reference specifications;
  • collect and analyse data relating to defects in order to identify the causes and propose corrective actions;
  • perform inspections on production lines to ensure compliance with instructions/procedures;
  • communicate with production operators, maintenance technicians and the manager in order to carry out problem-solving and implementation of improvements.

Applications with the following requirements will be considered for selection:

  • a high school diploma in a technical field (mechanical, electronic or electrical);
  • availability for shift work;
  • good knowledge of products and production processes;
  • ability to use measuring and control instruments;
  • good command of the office package;
  • strong motivation to ensure product quality;
  • ability to identify the causes of problems and to propose effective solutions;
  • practical approach;
  • autonomy in the job.

Additional requisites that will constitute preference:

  • many years' experience (at least 2 years) in the role, within medium/large-sized engineering industrial contexts, preferably in the HVAC sector;
  • preferable basic knowledge of English;
  • preferable licence for use of aerial platform and forklift truck.

Paint Plant Coordinator

In order to strengthen its structure, Clivet Spa is looking for a resource to be employed as a Coating Plant Coordinator with prospects for growth within the company.

You will be the reference point within the Painting Department and will be in charge of:: - The painting department, taking care of the following tasks

You will be the point of reference within the Painting department, being responsible for:

  • organising and coordinating a team of 10 people, assigning workloads and supervising daily activities,
  • pinning production according to established priorities, ensuring compliance with deadlines and quality,
  • managing the plant, ensuring its correct operation and intervening in the event of stoppages or malfunctions,
  • ensuring order, safety and compliance with procedures within the department,
  • collaborating with maintenance, logistics and quality to resolve any problems or improve the efficiency of the department.

Requirements/Technical knowledge required:

  • degree of technical qualification (mechanical, mechatronic, maintenance or similar);
  • previous experience of at least 2 - 3 years in the coordination of painting plants for metal components;
  • preferable knowledge of PAINT PAINTING and varnishes;
  • availability to work on a daily basis and on 2/3 shifts;
  • use of the main computer applications;
  • orientation towards teamwork and strong aptitude for problem solving and achieving results.

Sheet-metal working clerk

In order to expand our sheet-metal working department, we are looking for a sheet-metal working clerk.
An initial apprenticeship and training on specific machines is envisaged in the case of JR profiles. Position with possibility of professional growth in the company with prospects of permanent employment.

The activities to be performed:

  • Use, management and programming of machining centres with use of CAD - CAM software for programming laser cutting/ bending/punching/panelling machines;
  • management of machining times;
  • monitoring of machining operations in progress;
  • quality control of machined products;

The requisites/technical knowledge required

  • qualification in mechanical/mechatronics;
  • required knowledge of CAD/CAM software and knowledge of Technical Drawing;
  • preferable experience in the specific job;
  • availability to work a day and 2/3 shifts;
  • Aptitude for team work, autonomy and problem solving complete the profile.

Test room operator

With a view to strengthening the Laboratory Area and with the aim of developing our business, we are looking for a Laboratory Technician - Test Room Operator for air conditioning, heating and air treatment systems and plants.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

The selected resource, placed in the Quality area and coordinated by the Test Room Manager, will have the task of supporting the development process of new products, carrying out certification and qualification tests of new components related to systems and units for air conditioning, heating and air treatment systems.


More specifically, within the operations team, the resource will be responsible for:

  • Conducting laboratory tests defined by a test plan with responsibility for their correct execution;
  • Defining and setting up the instrumentation and room set-up for carrying out the tests;
  • Defining the sequence of tests and the measuring instrumentation to be used;
  • Carrying out laboratory checks on test benches;
  • Drawing up test reports adopting the standards for the products tested and verifying their conformity;
  • Record test results in qualification plans for review and update the necessary technical documents and procedures based on the results obtained;
  • Propose improvements in testing techniques and on the product based on experience and knowledge of new measuring instruments;
  • Participate in test campaigns at third-party laboratories in Italy/Europe, if necessary and requested.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma of thermo-technical/electrical/mechanical expert or vocational school;
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, thermo-technical and acoustic measurements;
  • Good skills and propensity for manual work;
  • Ability to analyse and interpret results;
  • Problem solving and teamwork;
  • Operational autonomy and results orientation;
  • Good knowledge of the Office package (Excel in particular);


Additional requirements that will be preferred:

  • Basic knowledge of the refrigeration circuit;
  • Intermediate level knowledge of the English language;
  • Previous experience of at least 1/2 years in the role or in related tasks (e.g.: tester), within medium/large-sized engineering industrial contexts preferably in the HVAC sector.
  • Duration: Full-time working hours, also on 2/3 shifts. Salary, level and duration of contract will be commensurate with experience in the role.
