AIR CONDITIONING FOR OFFICES
Palazzo Edison, Milan, Italy
Business centre in a historic building
Enhanced Hydronic System
The building has been awarded with the prestigious Gold Level LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental DesignTM) Certification according to the Core & Shell 2009 standard. The principle of decentralization with air renewal and purification, housed within the building's inner courtyard, for example, has provided the maximum flexibility and functional autonomy, the management cost reduction, the enhancement of the terraces on the roof of the building.
The Enhanced Hydronic System is the industrialized solution applicable worldwide, both in new constructions and in restructuring in the commercial sector.
Enhanced Hydronic System, the industrialized modular hydronic solution with fan coils applicable worldwide, both in new constructions and in restructuring in the commercial sector.
The benefits of installing an ENHANCED HYDRONIC system
- Global energy saving of over 30% in the annual operating cycle in most of the climatic resorts
- Minimum environmental impact: double-digit reduction in CO2 emissions provides great opportunities in terms of tax deductions and and energy certification of the building, increasing the value of the property
- Up to 42% savings in energy costs: this is an additional profit opportunity throughout the entire life cycle of the building
Other Clivet solutions for offices:
WLHP (Water Loop Heat Pump)
The cooled or heated energy necessary for conditioning is produced locally in each served zone and freely transferred between zones with different climatic demands using “neutral” water as an exchange fluid with the consequent reduction in consumption and management costs.
The system is based on a hydraulic circuit (loop) passed through by water moved by pumps and in typically “neutral” conditions respect to the environment (20-30°C), which acts as a source for energy producers formed of water-air or water-water heat pumps.
The VRF direct expansion systems heat, cool and produce domestic hot water.
The air renewal and purification are assigned to ZEPHIR3, the complete and autonomous system for handling primary air with active thermodynamic recovery and electronic filtration.
