EXPO 2015, EATALY PAVILION - EXPO 2015, EATALY PAVILION
EXPO 2015, EATALY PAVILION
Overlooking the main street of EXPO, the decumanus, EATALY is not just a restaurant, but a place celebrating the Italian biodiversity: food processing, human, landscape and art.
The pavilion covers 8.000 square meters divided into two buildings, plus a large garden of 8.000 square meters. Along with specialties cooked by the best Italian chefs, EATALY offers its visitors the opportunity to admire 350 masterpieces of the Italian art, from the Middle Ages to now.
The comfort of both buildings is provided by 10 Clivet rooftop systems and 6 Clivet heat pumps, chosen by Cefla as a proponent and installer for their high energy efficiency and ease of installation thanks to the quick links to the user side circuit, the pre-configuration for electrical connections and the full functional test before shipment.
Clivet rooftops have:
- innovative thermodynamic energy recovery of the exhaust air through a dedicated THOR (THermodynamic Overboost Recovery) exchanger, which recovers the energy contained in the exhaust air and transfers it to the handling through the refrigeration circuit, increasing the overall efficiency of the unit,
- air quality probe, which measures the CO2 amount in the environment and send the controller a signal according to which the amount of outdoor air necessary for IAQ ventilation is regulated, thus minimizing the energy used for treatment,
- hot gas re-heating coil, which guarantees the correct temperature of air intake after summer dehumidification, lowering refrigerant condensation temperature, which provides two positive effects: power absorbed by the compressors is considerably reduced, and at the same time, cooling capacity is increased, resulting in greater efficiency (EER).
The system is completed with 6 Clivet heat pumps for cooling and domestic hot water production, equipped with modular scroll technology able to adapt to the different load conditions, optimizing energy consumption.
