COOKIES AND OTHER TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Third-party Cookies

Upon visiting this site, you may receive cookies originating from sites managed by third parties, some of which are session cookies and others, permanent cookies.
A common example is the use of the so-called “social plugin” for the main social networks. This regards parts of the page visited directly and integrated in the page of the host site. In particular, on the pages of this site, there are the plugins of Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Youtube, and Linkedin aimed at improving the surfing experience of the user through the sharing of contents on the social network.
The management of information gathered by third parties is governed by the relevant circular letters to which one has to refer for all clarifications. The Data Controller is not responsible for the operations on his own site, of cookies/plugins of third parties. However, for convenience and transparency, hereunder are the web addresses of the various circular letters. To this regard, consult:

  • Circular Letter of Facebook to be accessed at the address: https://www.facebook.com/policies/cookies/;
  • Circular Letter of Linkedin to be accessed at the address: https://www.linkedin.com/legal/cookie-policy;
  • Circular Letter of Twitter to be accessed at the address: https://twitter.com/it/privacy;
  • Circular Letter of Google+ to be accessed at the address:https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=it;

Cookies are small text files that the sites visited send to the surfing device used by the user (usually a browser). These are memorized in the corresponding folder of the browser while the user is engaged in visiting a website, and then retransmitted to the same sites at the subsequent visits.
They are used to improve the surfing, and to save the information of the user already inserted (username, password and similar items), trace the tastes and preferences of the user, enable the targeted marketing initiatives to be handled or issue services connected to the activities of the Controller such as newsletters, service announcements on the Site, etc.
Should restrictions be set on their usage, these will affect the usability of the site’s contents during consultation. The user can always effectively block or remove these from the browser’s cache, but such actions could cause an incomplete use of the services offered by the web application.
