NORMS ON HEAT PUMPS

The European Directive RES (Renewable Energy Sources) 2009/28/CE of 23rd April 2009

The heat pump systems are becoming the solution of the future for heating, sanitary water production, cooling and air renewal and purification.

Our field is at the heart of a revolution has no precedent driven by the future building industry that in 2020 expects "Net Zero Energy Buildings", in other words buildings to provide and to self-manage his own energy need, exploiting important quantities of renewable energy and reducing the use of fossil fuels as much as possible.

The signs of this orientation are very close: in fact the European Union in 2009 issued an important directive promoting the use of renewable energy sources. Among these ones, the indirect solar energy contained in air, water and ground exploited by the heat pumps is recognised as renewable energy source.
